Who is rayNman?
rayNman pronounced “Reign Man” or “Rainman”
Award winning music producer Raymond “rayNman” Rodney White Jr is a man behind some of biggest hits in the industry. rayNman’s track record is extensive, it reads like the Billboard 100 with hits from global icons such as TI, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Eminem, Usher, Migos, Future and many more. rayNman has positioned himself to be one of the leading mainstream music producers in the industry. rayNman broke through the game crafting unique sounds for Grammy winning producer Drumma Boy in 2008. He tutored him on the Akai MPC 4000 drum sampler and transformed his keyboard sounds. That was the beginning of the many hits to come with Young Jeezy. He then went on to team up with Zaytoven, tutoring him on Native Instruments Maschine 1.0 and soon on the iconic Akai MPC 2000, 2500 and MPC Renaissance drum sampler. Before he made it rayN in Zaytown, Zay had no knowledge of making beats using software; only old hardware MPC drum machines and hardware keyboards. “rayNmizzle“; as Zay called him, taught him how to keep up with 808 Mafia’s Southside, Metro Boomin and Mike Will’s software techniques which lead to more hit records with Drake, Future and Nicki Minaj. rayNman’s distinctive ear for sounds have taken over the airwaves through a series of other hit singles including hip hop legend Gucci Mane when he produced the Anthem “Georgia” featuring Gorilla Zoe on DJ Drama’s “The Movie” Mixtape. rayNman’s trademark ‘futuristic funk’ sound is also featured on many other chart topping rappers and singers. When he is asked who he loved working with he would probably say Gucci Mane. He helped build his studio. He gave him his best sounds and ideas for his other producers to use. rayNman is a household name in the Hip Hop, Rap, Trap, Pop and R&B scene in Atlanta. Just ask your nearest producer or even Andre 3000 of OutKast just before self-producing the certified ‘Diamond’ Album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below if he learned any new producer tricks from rayNman and he will tell you “Oh Yeah!” from his days as a salesman/tutor at Guitar Center Atlanta, Georgia to consulting star musicians all over. Currently he is producing for singers, rappers, movies and his own material. Wearing the artist hat, rayNman is piped up about his performance in the front of the crowd and behind the scenes, but not before the goal of being the best producer for rayNman Records. ‘Make it rayN!’
